One great GTA V mod that captures the game's essence is one that can send semi-trucks into the sky with a " mega ramp," highlighting the vehicular chaos that comes hand in hand with the game. Grand Theft Auto 6 doesn't seem like it will be released anytime soon, so modders still have time to tinker with the GTA V code and make some fun mods to keep gamers entertained while they wait for the sequel. The mod is running on a PC with an Intel i5-8400, 32GB of RAM, and an RTX 2080 Ti, which is a graphics card capable of running games in 4K and already has real-time ray tracing technology. The mod was created by OreoShaman, whose cinematic video demonstrates his mod as a car races across the map, making sure to show off the city as well as the less built-up Red County. Called Realism Beyond, the mod gives GTA V a more evenly lit environment, with a softer tone that doesn't fail to make the game look much more real but also isn't quite as realistically hard-edged like other visual mods. Game Rant reported on a trailer showing off the ray tracing mod, and it completely revamps the visuals to give much more realistic lighting to the city of Los Santos. Earlier this year, a GTA V graphics mod called NaturalVision Evolved was created that enhanced many aspects of the visuals in the game, including the lighting system.
There are plenty of visual mods already available for GTA V, even if they don't take things quite as far.
Fortunately, it still has a community always ready to see how much fun can still be milked from the game. Despite being seven years old, GTA V's graphics are still nothing to scoff at, even without mods. Grand Theft Auto V has been around long enough for some pretty wild mods to appear for it, but a new ray tracing mod has a breathtaking result on the game.
